This was filmed in rehearsals for the UK tour in early May and, as many of you who saw the shows can testify, by the time this reached the stages it had transformed a hell of a lot from these versions which compared to the current recordings being laid down are the equivalent of charcoal sketches.
These renditions of “Crucifix Corner”, “The Gathering” and “Thistle Alley” will however give those of you who couldn’t make the UK shows some idea of where “The High Wood” is coming from!
