Steve Vantsis up this week to listen to mixes so yesterday was a visit to Calum Malcolm’s studio in North Berwick to hear his revisions on the first versions. Steve was blown away at what had been accomplished since he went on holiday to the USA.
The revisions have taken the album on another big step forward and today we are listening in the house (to be joined later by John Reid who is on a timely trip North for a family holiday)
It is now getting so close to delivery and everything is on line from our side with the mastered album due to be uploaded on Sunday night for a Monday start at the production plant.
The pre orders have taken a much appreciated leap forward in the last week as a lot of you sense the imminent arrival of the new album. It means Mark and I will be signing more digi prints in the next days to fulfill the bonus offer that ends at the end of this month.
I am moving into the next phase with my head birling around promo and marketing ideas that require a lot of weaving and placing at the right time in the right positions!

Mark Wilkinson is setting up ads for mags and JPEGS that it would be appreciated if you could spread around as much as possible through friends and music web sites to get the message out. I am absolutely positive that when you hear this album you will be shouting from rooftops yourselves!
Dave Barras will be putting together a video ad for the album with soundbites and short introductions that will also be available to share around.
Thanks to all your support with the pre orders the creation costs are now covered and I can now look at promo budgets and press campaigns as the European tour comes into focus in 4 weeks time.
Only just over 2 weeks until the postman starts to deliver!
