Perfect timing for me with “A Feast of Consequences” just released and a big London gig with all it’s media coverage and poster shuttering. Having my profile raised in the big smoke a very nice bonus to my promo activity currently being set up.

It’s also going to be handy just coming off the European tour with a band that will be on fire to play the biggest stage I’ve played in London for a long time.

I did raise an eyebrow at first when Yatta told me as I knew “Marillion” had been scheduled to play on the bill and called up Mark Kelly to get the lowdown. They had their own issues with the promoter which didn’t affect me.

It’s going to be a great night meeting up with Danny, Luke and the “Thunder” boys who’ve been old friends since Terraplane/Marquee days and who I’ve seen a couple of times in recent years. Damn fine rock band and crowd pleasers so I’ll have my work cut out! 🙂

Playing with “Mott” is an honour and having a great respect for Ian’s lyrics, songwriting and showmanship since I was a teenager it’s going to be a blast working with them. I met up with Mick Ralph’s last year at Sweden Rocks when he was with Paul Rogers and Bad Company and we had a fine time with Jacky D and the story box backstage 🙂

A wonderful bill and proud to be asked on! 🙂
