Been lurgied for 2 days now. Exhausted and light headed and taking naps.Not stopped me working although not as attentive as I could be.
Managed to get “All About Time” into a band workable shape and now the lyricist has to join the dots to have it ready for Leamington Spa debut.
12 working titles on the board now including the 5 sections of High Wood.
Dave Barras was down today filming an interview on the state of writing and demo workings for the fishheadsclub.com web site that will be fully on line in a few weeks. He’s also editing some tracks from the electric band shows in May to add to the Fishheads YouTube channel.I am hoping to get an interview and state of the Feast recordings up once a week as we move further into the album writing.Last night with Foss and Steve and then a rest for a few days as daughter moves into her new flat in Glasgow. Going to be a bit strange here and quite emotional as this is unlike the last move to Edinburgh. A more determined and grown up young lady who needs the opportunities and experience of an independent life in a vibrant new city will thrive over in the West. She’ll do grand. 🙂
The pile of boxes in the studio main floor reminds me of when I moved in here in 2001.
A lot happened since then and a lot still happening here.
Looking forward to introducing Frank to the new material and getting his inputs when he gets back with the 3 of us late next week.
I am just going to take the opportunity of the coming break and get the pen sharpened for the lyric whittling in the welcome gap.
