The first 2 remasters, ‘Sunsets on Empire’ and ‘Raingods With Zippos’ are available on mail order through the fishheadsclub.com site from Friday 23rd October. There were so many unforeseen delays in the creation which were mainly due to my extensive writing contributions to the sleeve notes that release dates kept getting put back. Rather than continuing to give shifting dates I went ahead and put the first 2 into production and they will be with us this weekend.
“Fellini Days’ and ‘Field of Crows’ are being assembled now and these next 2 remaster releases will be available in December.
“Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors’, ‘Internal Exile’, ‘Suits’ and “Songs from The Mirror’ once completed will be released in Spring 2016.
All the remasters are hardback covered books (140 x 126mm) with 3 cd wallets inside, (one glued and two floating) with 48 pages of original illustrations, artwork and photos and approximately 9000 words of sleeve notes that I have written about the background to the albums, the stories behind the lyrics, the writing and recording sessions, the subsequent touring and band line ups.
All 3 cd’s in each title have been remastered by Calum Malcolm.
The remasters are all £16.99 each plus VAT and postage and only initially available on the tour merchandise stall in November and December and through the fishheads club mail order service. They will also be available for pre order on the fishheadsclub.eu site with orders fulfilled at the end of November. The first 4 titles will be available on Amazon and as digital downloads early next year..
