Internal Exile Download

24 July 2014

I’ve just got back from Calum Malcolm’s where I dropped off material from the “Internal Exile” album that will be going up as a download this weekend on i tunes and other sites.

“Internal Exile” has never been available for download and as I am putting up the videos for both “Internal Exile” and “Credo” which also have never been officially added to You Tube together with a statement on my stance on the Scottish referendum it made sense to at least make the album available in download format. The full remastered re release will not be available until much later as I am concentrating on the more recent albums in the first batch namely “Sunsets on Empire”, “Raingods with Zippos”, “Fellini Days” and  “Field of Crows”.

The tracks on the remastered download will be as follows –  Credo, Just Good Friends, Favourite Stranger, Lucky, Dear Friend, Tongues, Internal Exile, Something in the Air and Carnival Man with the re recordings of Favourite Stranger, Just Good Friends (with Sam Brown), Lucky, and Credo from 1995 for the Yin and Yang sessions, Internal Exile, the 1989 recording and the 7″ single edits from 91 of Internal Exile and Credo.

More tracks from demo stages and live recordings will be added to the full physical re release and as a separate download for anyone buying this version. At this moment in time I have no idea what those tracks will be as I’m concentrating on the other titles that are already being worked on.

“13th Star” , “Communion” and “Return to Childhood” will also be added to i tunes in the next week with the full remastered re releases added as they come together over the next few months.

I am also putting together the live album from last year’s European tour for release as a download on i tunes with 15 full shows available for download on fishheadsclub.com. The live album will also be available  as a 3 CD release which will hopefully be ready for the upcoming tour in the Autumn.

” A Feast of Consequences” standard CD is now available and fulfilled by Amazon in 26 European countries and the fishheadsclub.eu mail order site will be up and running next week so fans can now purchase the deluxe version, the double vinyl record, t shirts and other titles in Euros which will mean no exchange rates, cheaper postage in the EU and no need for credit cards as the operation is being run from Germany.

I’m being interviewed by Ian Robertson on East Coast FM tomorrow morning at 9pm about the Haddington Corn Exchange gig on the 23rd August so log into http://www.ecfm.co.uk/ to hear it!
